 About The Workshop

Clown Improvisation | 2-Day Workshop | Ages 17+ | Friday May 30th, 7-9pm and Saturday May 31st, 3-5pm

In our May workshop, “Clown Improvisation” you will learn the clown’s most liberating way of responding “clown Impulse”; the act of being truthful in the comedy with yourself and an audience. This workshop will teach you how your clown exists in the moment, responding to and constantly finding games with the audience and fellow performers. Through a series of playful exercises, games and improvisations you will be encouraged to take risks by improvising in the moment.

 Whether you are just curious, wanting to diversify your acting skills, a part time clown or a comedian, this will be the place for you. Perfect for performers, improvisers, and anyone curious about the transformative power of laughter, this workshop creates a space to experiment, fail boldly, and rediscover the joy of play.
