About The Workshop

Clown + The Lonely | 2-Day Workshop | Ages: Adult | Nov 13th & Nov 14th | FRI 7-9pm - SAT 3-5pm

Who are you when nobody is there? And what happens when someone finally arrives?

We are excited to offer this 2-Day workshop exploration of loneliness, longing, connection, rejection, imagination, and the ridiculous things we do when we desperately want someone to see us.

Through physical play, improvisation, audience relationship, imaginary companions, failure, and solo creation, we'll explore the lonely clown—not as a sad character, but as someone whose enormous need for connection makes them wonderfully, painfully, and hilariously human.

The workshop culminates by you applying your gained knowledge to create and present a short and simple clown routine in class on Saturday.

The clown is the vehicle that allows humanity to have hope, to heal, to connect and to overcome. The clown simply holds a mirror back to us as he fails, succeeds and then hopes. This is all of us. This is why the clown is important.
