About The Workshop

Clown + Character | 2-Day Workshop | Ages: Adult | Friday Sept 25th, 7-9pm and Saturday Sept 26th, 3-5pm

We are excited to offer “Clown + Character”, in this workshop you will discover your irresistible clown persona as well as learn your unique comic language. Emphasis is placed on originality – which is expressed in who you are and what you bring.

You will develop your body and imagination to create larger than life storytelling. The workshop will explore the art of clowning through fun and engaging games and exercises learning techniques from mime, comedy improvisation and physical comedy. 
 
The workshop culminates by you applying your gained knowledge to create and present a short and simple clown routine in class on Saturday.

The clown is the vehicle that allows humanity to have hope, to heal, to connect and to overcome. The clown simply holds a mirror back to us as he fails, succeeds and then hopes. This is all of us. This is why the clown is important.
